The Role As an
Electrician, you'll be responsible for delivering a wide range of electrical maintenance and installation work across private properties and facilities in Central London. From
testing and inspecting distribution boards to
installing and maintaining LED and emergency lighting systems, you'll ensure every environment operates safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that also requires flexibility for
seasonal shifts and on-call duties. In short, it's an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in an environment where precision, quality, and professionalism truly matter.
Key Responsibilities - Perform general property maintenance and electrical installation work
- Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of distribution boards and fixed wiring installations
- Install and modify electrical systems for both single-phase and three-phase equipment
- Install and maintain LED lighting and emergency lighting systems.
- Perform repairs and corrective work on internal and external wiring systems
- Diagnose wiring faults and manage electrical systems in plant rooms, including motors, pumps, and fan coil units (FCUs)
- Follow site plans and schematic drawings accurately
- Oversee and coordinate with specialist contractors to ensure effective service delivery
- Participate in seasonal shifts and on-call rotations
- Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position
About You - Qualifications:
- Recognised C&G NVQ qualifications
- BSth Edition City & Guilds qualification
- C&G 2391 Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations, or equivalent (C&G 2394/2395)
- Full Clean Driving Licence
