About the Role

As a Speech and Language Therapist in our Autism Advisory Service, you will:

• Work collaboratively within a multi-agency Advisory Team under the guidance of the Head of Service.
• Support educational settings in meeting the needs of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition and Social Communication Disorder.
• Deliver high-quality training for professionals and families to empower them with the skills and knowledge to support children effectively.
• Provide tailored programmes of intervention, group work, and support for children at home and in school/Early Years settings.
• Oversee and guide multi-therapy assistants and a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable professional with:

• UK qualified status and HCPC registration.
• Extensive knowledge of Autism Spectrum Conditions and their impact on communication development and function.
• A deep understanding of assessment methods and therapeutic interventions.
• Proven experience in supporting families and applying effective principles to practice.
• Significant expertise in assessing and intervening with children with autism.
• Strong operational caseload management skills for children with Autism.
