We re looking for a new Head of Central Operations to join our Retail Operations team based in Loudwater, Buckinghamshire. In this role, you will act as the voice of the Retail, working collaboratively with other functions, ensuring everything we do is focused on customer service excellence. Lead the Retail Central Operations function to continuously improve and enable smooth effective Retail operations across the estate. Support the senior leadership team in the delivery of our brand strategies by maintaining strong operational controls, supporting the communications strategy and focusing on continuous improvement. Here s a taste of what you ll be doing day-to-day - Develop & implement a central operational plan aligned with business strategy that ensures effective execution. - Design an optimum Store Operating Model to simplify processes, reduce inefficient workload and drive consistency across every store. - Identify cross-functional opportunities and solutions to simplify retail operations. - Ensure the effective management of store workload through capacity & impact planning, influencing and challenging cross-functionally. - Lead business and operational projects as part of the Senior Leadership Team - Design and deliver a fit for purpose communication framework, adopting an appropriate and maximum impact communication style to ensure that communication methods are clear simple and effectively engage Retail teams. - Lead operational & business change agenda in stores to deliver planned benefits through and with all functions. - Represent Operations in forums and projects across the business. - Co-ordinate & review projects & activities that impact Retail. - Ensure legal, regulatory and operational compliance whilst also effectively managing risk alongside the experts in their field. - Build a highly capable & diverse team focused on delivery through simplification, communication and teamwork. - Empower the team to succeed through effective leadership and coaching. - Role model the company behaviours and values to drive and embed our culture. - Ensure that strong succession plans are in place throughout your business area.
