We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Nurse to join our Health and Social Care Section at the College. This role involves teaching across the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3. The ideal candidate will prepare learners, primarily aged 16-19, for careers in the health/social care sector.
Day-to-day of the role: - Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions across various levels of Health and Social Care courses.
- Utilise current industry knowledge and clinical experience to enhance the learning experience of students.
- Prepare course materials, assessments, and projects that reflect real-world scenarios.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and achievements of students.
- Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is up-to-date with the latest industry standards.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Degree in Nursing.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with current or recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
- Experience in teaching or training, with a willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (support provided if not already obtained).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
