Backend Engineer - Real-Time Game Server (Mandarin Required)

We're hiring a Backend Engineer to join a high-performance game platform project under our Group. This role focuses on building real-time game server systems for multiplayer slot, board, and blockchain-based games.Fluency in Mandarin is required.

We are a fast-growing technology team developing high-performance backend systems that support large-scale, real-time applications in the online gaming industry. Our backend services handle millions of API requests daily, with a strong emphasis on data flow design, scalability, and stability.

• Design and develop backend systems to support real-time multiplayer game logic.

• Build modules for slot games, board games, and blockchain-integrated games.

• Implement full-cycle data handling: ingestion, processing, and transmission to front-end and third-party platforms.

• Integrate fairness verification mechanisms (e.g. RNG validation, cryptographic proof).

• Contribute to server architecture design to improve scalability and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) across the full SDLC.

• 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience.

• Proficient in Golang (preferred), or other mainstream languages such as Java / C++.

• Familiarity with game logic, or strong interest in game systems development.

• Practical experience in handling SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).

• Comfortable working in Linux environments, with tools such as Git, Docker.

• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.

• Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English (team working languages).

• Preferably with consistent career history (not predominantly short-term roles under 1 year).

• Experience with game server development or multiplayer game systems.

• Understanding of distributed architecture (CAP/BASE/ACID).

• Familiarity with blockchain games or smart contract integrations.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience working on high-concurrency backend platforms or large-scale products.

• Game platform or SDK development experience is a strong bonus.
