Setting Out Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Interpreting and understanding technical drawings and plans
• Maintaining equipment and managing site records
• Collaborating with project managers and construction teams to deliver project milestones
• Conducting site inspections to ensure the work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
• Communicating daily progress and any encountered issues to the project management team
• Overseeing and guiding junior engineers and construction workers
• Ensuring effective utilisation of resources on-site

• Experience in setting out within the water sector
• Must have SCS induction
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site safety protocols
• Proficiency with setting out equipment such as total stations and GPS
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Location: HS2 Old Oak Common
• Contract Duration: 1 year+
