Role: Warehouse Supervisor

Salary: £30,000 -£32,000

Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4.30pm - Some Saturdays until Midday - some flexibility with hours is needed due to seasonal demand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting the overall logistics function.

We are currently seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations. This role involves supervising a small team, assisting with order picking, operating forklifts, and ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations and team coordination
• Lead by example in a hands-on capacity, including picking, packing, and dispatching orders
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Train and support warehouse operatives to meet performance targets
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and delivery teams

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
• Willingness to work in a hands-on capacity
• Valid forklift license (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good understanding of warehouse systems and procedures
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
