My client identifies, develops and delivers utility scale Solar PV Projects across the globe. Their portfolios include some of the largest Solar farms across the world - ranging from 5MW to over 100MW, and their pipeline incudes over 20GW of power within the next 5 years.

In this role, you will be playing an influential role in the management of BESS design and optimisation to support their growing Solar PV asset portfolio. You will play a key part in upholding the standard for electrical design, continually liaise with project management / construction teams and act as the focal point for client communications.

The Role:

• Overseeing electrical design of BESS systems to support Solar PV assets.
• Application of power systems knowledge to BESS systems.
• Feasibility and review studies.
• Cross-team collaboration - both internal and external.
• Taking ownership of projects - managing scope, schedules and client liaising.
• Acting as the key point of contact to manage sound electrical standards across the BESS division.

The Candidate:

• Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Experience across BESS systems - and power systems alike.
• Experience in electrical drawing.
• Experience and knowledge in controls, SCADA and networking systems.
• Experience working with storage developers - and deploying projects.
• Can reliably commute to either London, Dublin or Cork 3 times a week.
