Director - Major Infrastructure Delivery - The role:

• Responsible for managing the development, design and delivery of Major Infrastructure and large Highways Improvement schemes
• Responsible for ensuring resources and strategies are in place across wide ranging technical activities
• Provide expert professional advice to Executive Directors and work collaboratively with senior colleagues to engage partners and colleagues across the organisation to deliver the strategic vision
• Provide professional advice on policy and operational delivery of major projects
• Act as the strategic development lead for major projects with key regional and national bodies

Director - Major Infrastructure Delivery - Requirements:

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
• Substantial management experience in a complex business environment
• Membership of appropriate professional body and/or evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
• Knowledge of concepts, principles and practices gained through extensive experience and development in a specific field relevant to the role
• Ability to balance strategic leadership and direction with effective operational management through effective business planning and performance management
• Experience of financial planning and delivery of financial plans including significant savings
• Outstanding relationship management and networking skills
