Head of Procurement

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and well liked food brand in London. This role requires someone to lead the procurement function (team of 7), driving strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

It requires someone with a passion for the food industry, strong negotiation skills and the ability to lead a large and diverse team.

Description

• Creating and developing the overall procurement strategy
• Leading a team of 7 (3 direct line reports)
• Sourcing ingredients from global suppliers.
• Leading negotiations for major tenders.
• Working cross functionally with NPD, Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics

Profile

• 8 + years of procurement, sourcing experience
• Well versed in sourcing food, ingredients or commodities
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing people
• Great communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
