Cover supervisor

An all girls school based in Ealing are looking for part time cover supervisors. This is a temporary role.

Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Salary is between 100 and 120 depending on experience.

School has available parking spaces.

Cover supervisor

• Supervise Classes: Ensure that students are following instructions and staying on task during lessons when the regular teacher is absent, maintaining classroom discipline and focus.

• Support Student Learning: Provide assistance with tasks, support students in their learning activities, and answer questions related to the work set by the absent teacher.

• Manage Behavior: Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment by addressing any behavioral issues and ensuring that school policies are followed.

• Report Back to Teachers: Provide feedback to the absent teacher on student behavior, engagement, and completion of tasks, ensuring continuity in the students' education.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• No qualification needed however experience covering teachers in schools in UK is necessary
• Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Approachable and encouraging
