HGV Class 2 Driver

M4 Recruitment are recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team for a leading Manufacturer andsupplier of commercial outdoor furniture, and structures for the hospitality and leisure industries.

As an HGV Class 2 Driveryour primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient delivery and collection of our high-quality outdoor furniture and structures to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for deliveries and collections.
• Transport a range of outdoor furniture, awnings, parasols, and structures to client sites.
• Assist with the careful loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are secured appropriately for transit (manual handling will be involved).
• Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, vehicle checks, and tachograph records accurately.
• Be flexible to work occasional overtime as required to meet business demands.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence, Taco and CPC.
• Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 driver, ideally with experience in delivering fragile or valuable goods.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (for insurance purposes).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• A proactive, punctual, and customer-focused approach.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (45 hours per week)
• Overtime and weekend work available.

Pay:

• £15 per hour
• Saturdays and Overtime (after 10 hrs) £22.50 per hour
• Sunday/ BH £30 per hour

This is a temporary position that could lead to a permanent role after a qualifying period.
