Insurance Associate

I'm partnering with a London-based insurance business seeking an Insurance Associate to join their team. This is a high-visibility role supporting the Active Underwriter across underwriting, planning, and catastrophe modelling within a leading reinsurance environment. You'll play a key role in performance analysis and business planning, working across multiple teams and locations, with strong exposure to high-impact projects and development opportunities.Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting portfolio operations, underwriting analytics and planning, catastrophe modelling, and business plan delivery.
• Developing knowledge of key syndicate contracts.
• Supporting underwriting and enhancing reporting processes, including CAT and reserving data.
• Collaborating with global teams.
• Supporting ad hoc projects and marketing materials for Lloyd's and investor audiences.

We're looking for a highly analytical, adaptable individual with strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into insight. Minimum 2+ years' experience in insurance or reinsurance operations, with strong analytical capability and exposure to SQL or Python is advantageous.
