Development Engineer

Job title: Development Engineer

As Development Engineer you will design, develop and deliver commercial interconnection solutions to customer's needs. Ensure customer satisfaction via high performance on the product development delivery and customer quality performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Aid Sales team with New Engineering Opportunities
• Input to the feasibility of new products and attend Accept Decline meetings.
• Quote creation for NPI's and report on progress in "Quotes in progress" Meetings. Including: Component cost, Labour and Overhead, Plating, NRE.
• Carry out NPI gate stages from concept to handover to manufacturing.
• Ensure timely delivery of Engineering Revenue through project management.
• Input to the New Product Strategic development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred
• Experience in new product development, project management, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-driven industry
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Demonstrated commitment to customer focus, consistently prioritizing the needs and satisfaction of clients or stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
