Class 1 Driver

M4 Recruitment are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 with Cargo Operative for PM shifts, for our client in Slough.

Shift & Start Times

PM shift starts from 1800

Competitive Pay Rates: £20.00 - £22.00 - Ltd Drivers acceptable

Key Responsibilities:

• Airfreight Operations: Safely complete assigned Airfreight routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
• Communication: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
• Professionalism: Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
• Minimum 2 year of Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on license
• DBS check
• Level D / Cargo Operative training (can be completed online)
• 5-year employment history
