Are you a Skilled Engineer with a passion for automatic gates and access control systems AVS Projects is seeking a dedicated Gate Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the installation, servicing, and maintenance of our gate systems, contributing to the safety and security of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of new gate systems, ensuring they meet functional and safety standards.
• Conduct regular service and maintenance checks to optimise gate performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with gates and related equipment effectively.
• Repair damaged components to ensure smooth operation of gate systems.
• Adhere to relevant Health and Safety regulations and industry standards in all undertakings.
• Provide guidance and instructional support to clients on gate operation and maintenance.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and team members regarding project status and issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong technical skills in electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Familiarity with gate systems and various brands/models.
• Problem-solving mindset to address technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for client and colleague interaction.
• Experience in the gate and barrier industry is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Desirable qualifications include IPAF, CSCS/ECS, DHF/Gate Safe, and/or City & Guilds certifications.

Shift pattens vary - normally 7.30am - 5pm.
