HGV Technician - Up to 40,000 + Private Healthcare - Near Halstead, Essex - 1.5x overtime rate

We're working with a friendly, family-run transport company on the outskirts of Halstead, Essex who are looking to expand its team with a skilled HGV Technician. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive environment where your work really makes a difference.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles, but the company is also open to considering recently qualified Level 3 Technicians with relevant hands-on experience.

Key responsibilities:

• As an HGV Technician, you will be required to maintain and service a fleet of HGVs, as well as tankers, light commercial vehicles, trailers, car transporters, horseboxes and buses/coaches
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
• Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics
• Assist with general workshop tasks as required

What we're looking for:

• Experience working on commercial or HGV vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Proven mechanical background (qualified or time-served)
• A team player with a proactive attitude
• Previous engineering background

What's on offer:

• Salary up to 40,000, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
