Reception Teacher - the role:
As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of teaching to children in their early years. You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where each child is encouraged to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. You will be supported by a fantastic team of teaching assistants and work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that all children thrive.
Reception Teacher - responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the Reception curriculum.
Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive school environment.
Engage with parents and guardians to encourage their involvement in their child's education.
Reception Teacher - requirements:
UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or on track to achieve by September 2025.
Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) during training.
A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom.
A strong understanding of child development and EYFS principles.
