Cable Jointer

We're currently looking for highly experienced and reliable Cable Jointers for a project in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

Our client are a Data centre specialist, so experience in this sector is essential.
We'll also consider candidates with limited Data Centre experience, but who hold a very strong industrial/commercial background.

The right candidates with relevant experience will be kept long term with good rates offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, joint, terminate, and test low- and medium-voltage power cables.
• Perform cable splicing, terminations, and fault-finding to ensure seamless power distribution.
• Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on critical power infrastructure.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and cable schedules.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
  

Required Qualifications:

• ECS Card.
• Recognised Cable Jointing Certification (e.g., Low/Medium Voltage Jointing).
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation, Power Engineering, or a related field.
