Job Description:Hays Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team for a 3-month project based in Stevenage. The successful candidate will work within occupied properties and social housing, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Performing carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and fixtures.

Work efficiently within occupied properties, respecting residents' privacy and maintaining a clean work environment.

Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure project completion on time and within budget.

Always adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably within social housing or similar environments.

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.

Carpentry experience including locks, hanging doors, boxing in, and PVC window and door repairs.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
