As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Reading, you will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
• Assist in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities.
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to monitor progress.
• Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Reading or similar setting.
• Understanding of a range of special educational needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
