Role: Primary Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full Time

Location: Penge, South East London

Rate: 90 - 100 Per Day

We require a Primary Teaching Assistant to work at one of our leading Primary schools in London. This rewarding Teaching Assistant will require you to support a student 1:1 in a mainstream class. You will be using various learning support and engagement techniques to help with the pupil's academic growth. Not one day is the same so we expect the ideal candidate to be adapting and versatile in their approach.

The ideal Primary Teaching Assistant:

• To help promote independent learning.
• To help reinforce learning.
• Have great interacting skills.
• To develop study and organisational skills.
• To help keep the students on task and to build motivation.
• To model good practice.
• Have a good use of initiative.

Requirement Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working within a primary classroom
• Good behaviour management and organisational skills
• SEN experience
• You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Remedy
