Deputy Manager EBD Homes (Dual Registration)
Location: London, HA0
Hourly Rate: £18.14 per hour (40 hours per week)
Sleep-In Rate: £70.50 per shift
Contract: Full-Time, Variable Shift Pattern

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team within our dual-registered EBD homes. In this role, you will support the management team in providing high-quality care to young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD). You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the young residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
• Supervise and support staff to ensure effective teamwork and delivery of care.
• Be a role model for staff, promoting positive behavior and professional development.
• Work collaboratively with external professionals, families, and social workers.
• Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Support with staff recruitment, training, and development.
• Handle on-call duties and provide leadership in emergency situations.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Proven experience working in a supervisory or managerial role within a residential childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts.

Desirable:

• A valid UK driving license (strongly favorable).
