About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Improvement Manager to support a Women's and Children's Division for one of our clients. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead innovative improvement programmes that transform patient care pathways and support the delivery of sustainable, high-quality services.

Working in close partnership with clinical and operational colleagues, you will play a pivotal role in redesigning patient pathways, driving service efficiency, and supporting key transformation projects that align with the Trust's strategic objectives and NHS long-term plan priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop robust business cases to support service transformation, workforce redesign, and capital or digital investment.
  • Apply project management methodologies to deliver change on time, within scope and budget.
  • Engage with clinicians, managers, and partners across health and social care to deliver integrated and patient-centred models of care.
  • Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and evaluation summaries for divisional and board-level meetings.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to build ownership and momentum for change.

About You

You will be a motivated, confident and proactive individual, able to balance strategic vision with operational delivery. You'll bring a track record of successful project delivery, preferably within an NHS or healthcare setting, and a strong ability to influence and engage multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong knowledge of NHS operational and strategic frameworks.
