Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS1/KS2 students
- Develop and implement age-appropriate teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of primary school students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational experience
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and other relevant information
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching in primary education, specifically with KS1 and KS2 students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous
- Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one
