We are seeking a part-time Lecturer with a Clinical Nursing specialism to join our dynamic Health and Social Care Section at the School of Health & Social Care and Creative Arts. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for teaching and a background in nursing, looking to shape the future of students primarily aged 16-19.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach across a range of qualifications including the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and Science, and BTEC RQF Health and Social Care Levels 1-4 and Access to Health and Human Science.
- Utilise current/recent clinical experience to provide enriched learning experiences.
- Engage with students to facilitate and inspire learning, ensuring that teaching methods are appropriate to the learner cohort.
- Maintain high standards of education and training, ensuring compliance with curriculum best practice and quality targets.
- Expected working days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Must possess a degree in Nursing.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with current/recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
- Experience in teaching or training is essential.
- Candidates without a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector will be supported to obtain this.
