Tradewind Recruitment is working with a thriving and inclusive secondary school in Islington, seeking a talented and creative Art & Design Teacher with a specialism in Graphics to join their team on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis starting from the Autumn term. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 in a forward-thinking and well-resourced department. Job Role Requirements: Plan and deliver high-quality Art & Design lessons with a strong emphasis on Graphics and digital design. Inspire creativity in students across KS3 and KS4, helping them to develop practical skills and a strong design portfolio. Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment. Work collaboratively within the Art department to promote cross-curricular links and enrichment opportunities. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Art & Design in UK secondary schools. Qualifications and Person Specification: QTS and a degree in Art & Design or a related field. Strong subject knowledge, particularly in Graphics and design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience teaching Art & Design across KS3 & KS4, including assessment and coursework support. A creative and innovative teaching style that inspires students of all abilities. Suitable for an experienced teacher looking to join a supportive and ambitious school.
