Veritas Education is currently seeking adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across a variety of primary schools in East London and Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy flexible working, want to gain experience in different schools, or are looking to work within a manageable travel distance from home.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or local long-term opportunities, we work with a wide network of supportive and welcoming schools in areas such as Newham, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham, Waltham Forest, Havering, Ilford, Romford, and surrounding boroughs.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Adapt quickly to new settings and build rapport with pupils and staff
• Provide handover notes for the class teacher
• Choose assignments based on your preferred locations and availability

Requirements:

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools
• Ability to travel across East London and Essex (we aim to keep travel within 45-60 mins)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
• Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
