Optometrist (Part-Time - 3 Days per Week, Including Saturdays) Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our vibrant, high-street practice on a part-time basis (3 days per week, including Saturdays). Having recently been acquired, the practice is undergoing an exciting transformation with new systems, advanced diagnostics, and a refreshed frame offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care tailored to each patient's needs
  • Provide professional advice on vision care, spectacles, and contact lenses
  • Manage and support a diverse patient base, including families and children
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Optix practice software
  • Work in line with clinical and regulatory standards, including NHS services
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the practice
  • Team Development:
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive and experienced team
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-first culture
  • Support the implementation of new systems and processes within the practice
  • Share clinical knowledge and best practices with colleagues
  • About You:
  • Qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in children's vision and family eye care is highly desirable
  • Adaptable and open to working within a developing, evolving practice environment
  • Comfortable working with modern diagnostic equipment and digital systems
