Job Title: Student Data & Management Information (SDMI) ManagerLocation: Kings Cross, LondonRemuneration: £51,842 - £59,262 per annumContract Details: Permanent, Full Time to start ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of student data statutory returns for external agencies like HESA and OfS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as an expert user of the SITS:Vision Student Records System, providing support and advice to colleagues.
  • Coordinate the integration of the academic timetable from CELCAT to SITS and oversee attendance monitoring data.
  • Produce management reports and conduct detailed data analysis to support statutory reporting functions.
  • Promote the use of e:Vision, maintaining access and supporting users while liaising with software suppliers for issue resolution.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, providing support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to policies, especially regarding Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and environmental sustainability in all tasks. ?

Required Skills:

  • Ideally a Degree in a Computing or related discipline
  • Expertise in SITS:Vision, HESADR reporting, and Higher Education statutory returns.
  • Proficiency in SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong project management, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with students and staff.
