SEMH Teaching Assistant

SEMH Teaching Assistant needed in London

I am recruiting for schools in the London area, seeking Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants who have experience supporting young children with SEND needs.

This specific role is to support a young teenage boy who has mild ASC aswell as SEMH. Hours for this role are 8am until 4:30pm. Breakfast and Lunch are provided.

About the role:

• Promoting a positive atmosphere where all pupils feel a sense of belonging and calm
• Working with Secondary age pupils with additional needs
• Differentiated lessons
• Supports pupils with a wide range of SEND including ASC, MLD, PMLD and SLD

These roles will be for either full-time long-term contracts (term time only) or potentially can work for part time in terms of cover work.

• £85 - £95 a day depending on experience
• DBS - must be subscribed to the update service
