A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to work with pupils who require tailored support to thrive both emotionally and academically. This is a long-term, full-time role offering consistency, training, and the chance to make a lasting impact.

As a ASD Support Assistant you'll support children with Autism, sensory processing differences, communication needs, and emotional regulation challenges, helping them feel secure, understood, and confident at school.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing 1:1 and small group ASD support
• Supporting routines, structure, and transitions
• Encouraging communication, social interaction, and independence
• Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Working collaboratively with SEN teachers and specialists

ASD Support Assistant Role details:

• Location: Reading
• Pay: £89-£100 per day
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Start: ASAP
