Teach Plus are currently working with a two-form school in Kilburn, who are looking for a passionate Year 1 teacher to join the team from September.

The primary schools aim is to make sure that all our children make excellent academic progress.

The primary school are looking for a year 1 teacher to join and excel the students learning as they grow into maturing children.

As a Year 1 Teacher you will be required to:

• Take on full KS1 Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
• Provide a calm, constructive working environment to enable the pupils to carry out the planned work

The ideal candidate for a Year 1 Teacher will have:

• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Recent KS1 (Year 1 Teacher or similar) experience, either within student placements or responsible for your own class
• A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year
• UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
