The company:

An industry leading Groundworks sub contractor who operate across the Southern Home Counties.

The project:

A new traditional build development of 6x detached homes (4-5 bedroom).

The role:

Reporting into a visiting Company Director you will be responsible for managing this residential scheme from site setup through to completion. Your role will involve but not be limited to:

• Management of the master build programme
• Weekly progress meetings with the Main Contractor site team
• Progress reporting to a visiting Company Director on a weekly basis
• Overseeing Health & Safety on site
• Maintain a site diary on a daily basis
• Quality assurance ensuring all work is completed to the required standard
• Management and supervision of the Groundworks team on site
• Managing / ordering materials

About you:

• You will have gained circa 5+ years experience, ideally working for a Groundworks sub contractor
• Have the correct CITB qualifications for the position (CSCS/CPCS Card, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work)
• Experience working on a similar scheme would be preferable, but not essential
• Experience of controlling direct labour
• Strong organisational and time management skills
