We are an outstanding special residential school for students aged 11 to 16, with an international reputation for educational innovation. The following opportunity has arisen to join our fabulous team and start as soon as possible:

Head of the Residential Provision (Maternity Cover)

Salary PS10 £47,318 - £51,366 (plus £45pw sleeping-in allowance)

Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSETs)

42 hours per week - fixed term for one year

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Head of the Residential Provision for one year to cover a maternity leave.

We can offer you an outstanding and innovative residential provision with a strong and dedicated team. An NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is essential as is a driving licence with 2 years driving experience.

Main responsibilities include:

To ensure that the school promotes and safeguards the welfare of all students

To lead the Residential Provision, and manage the Residential Provision staff team

To lead and co-ordinate the preparation for annual Residential Ofsted inspections

To ensure students' needs are met in line with their IHCPs and EHCPs
