Service Projects Engineer Roles/Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys to assess project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks, including point-to-point checks, panel modifications, and system integration.
- Configure and modify project software and graphics as required.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and site regulations.
- Provide system demonstrations and user training to clients.
- Update project documentation, including wiring diagrams and operational descriptions.
Service Projects Engineer Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in the UK BMS industry as a service, project, or commissioning engineer.
- Strong knowledge of non-proprietary protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and M-Bus.
- Experience with BMS software and graphics (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens).
- Electrical competence with the ability to understand and modify control panel drawings.
- Familiarity with HVAC plant operations and controls.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred for projects outside of London.
