We are looking for an experienced Product Manager, who wants to get involved in helping shape and execute Foresters product and proposition strategy.
You will be managing the development of the product and proposition roadmap. Utilising your experience of how to get a product/ proposition off the ground you will be instrumental in managing the successful launch of new products.
Your day to day will include:
Managing the identification and ideation of new product and proposition opportunities
Managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from idea and prototyping to launch and market success
Leading product reviews , maintaining a structured process and timeline.
Recommending and embedding product governance principles and practices.
Identifying the needs of vulnerable customers, recommending business practices.
Collecting and analysing relevant management information.
Leveraging data, customer insights, market research and regulations to inform business decision making and continuously improving products
Making evidence-based recommendations for product management.
Presenting conclusions and findings in an engaging and easily understandable way for stakeholders at the right level for respective audiences
Working with our Compliance team in the identification and assessment of any risks that are identified
Keep up to date with FCA regulations, guidance and any industry best practice and share that learning with the Foresters team
Working hours are 35 hours a week Monday to Friday. Start times can vary from 8am to 9.30am. After a successful training period there is flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week.
What we require
Experience in Financial Services
Ideally you will have experience working within a Financial company
Successful track record of bringing products and/or propositions to market and life-cycle management
Commercial awareness and focus on the application of regulation within Financial Services
Demonstrated experience of new product development and relevant processes/principles
Understanding and experience of Consumer Duty regulations
Evidence of a customer-focused mindset with proven ability to balance customer experience with commercial objectives
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated experience of applying strategic thinking balanced with delivery
Effective planning, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Confident interpreting and working with customer and business data.
