C#.Net / Cloud Developer

6 month contract (should extend to 12 months)

500 - 535 (inside IR35)

Location - London - 3 days a week onsite

Our client, a leading banking and financial services company are looking for a C#.Net / Cloud Developer.

Day to day you'll be picking up tickets from the backlog with little handholding and will deliver them to specification andwill chase down requirement clarifications where requirements have been poorly defined.

We're looking for someone who is delivery focussed and a problem solver, not a problem gatherer. You'll support new joiners in the team as and when required and you'll be adaptable, proactive and a self-starter.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Strong programming skills with 5+ years' experience in C#, Entity Framework to deliver target state invoicing platform
• Highly desirable experience in programming on AWS platform - knowledge of AWS services, and scripting infrastructure as a file
• Highly desirable experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Helms Charts, building deployment pipelines
• Self-starter with good communication skills who is able to deliver development tasks with minimal supervision
• Develop high quality code, including working on a largely existing code base to enhance functionality
• Attention to detail is a must, ensuring code is well tested, minimising defects for SIT and UAT teams
• Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, PLSQL, Postgres, Amazon RDS
• Familiarity and experience with RPGLE and CLLE is beneficial but not essential.
• Any experience of working with broking and financial asset classes is a huge advantage but not essential.

This company is based in central London and you'll be required into the office 3 days a week
