Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham, Southeast London (inner London), looking for apermanent Head of Business and Economics to lead the successful core curriculum area within the school.

  • The Head of Business and Economics will lead the department and contribute to the overall leadership and management of the school promoting academic achievement and outstanding teaching and learning.

    This is a great opportunity for a current or aspiring Head of Business and Economics to join this vibrant and oversubscribed school.

    We are looking for an exceptional Business and Economics practitioner with QTS/QTLS who can use their experience, extensive subject knowledge, and vision to get the best from their team and deliver high quality outcomes for the students.

    You have QTS/QTLS and excellent knowledge of Business and Economics GCSE (Edexcel) and A level (Edexcel). The school curriculum also includes OCR Enterprise and Marketing level 2 and BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business Pearson. Ability to act as a lead internal verifier for BTEC would be beneficial.
