Head of Operations / Nominated Individual (16+ Supported Accommodation Service)

Location: London (with travel to Peterborough)

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 (negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Operations / Nominated Individual to lead and oversee our 16+ Supported Accommodation service. This is a pivotal role where the successful candidate will contribute to the development and enhancement of our services, ensuring we maintain our high standards of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 16+ Supported Accommodation service, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Lead a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and meet the needs of young people in supported accommodation.
• Act as the Nominated Individual for the service, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct fieldwork, including regular visits to service locations across London and Peterborough, to monitor operations and provide leadership.
• Work closely with key stakeholders, including local authorities and partner organizations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for service improvements and drive continuous development.
• Ensure all operational processes are in line with the organization's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior operational role, ideally within supported accommodation or similar services.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across London and Peterborough.
• Experience in field-based roles and the ability to manage operations across multiple locations.
• A solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in supported accommodation services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
