Job Requirements/Description

Right Now Group are currently partnered with an International Engineering client and industry leader who are recruiting for an Electrical or Electronic Engineer to support their established product compliance team within testing, design, product approval and validation.

Ideally you would have come from an Engineering background with a Mechanical or Electrical focus and have a genuine interest in delivering engineering compliance on a local and international scale.

Job Title: Electronic Engineer

Weekly Hours: Monday to Friday (hybrid)

Salary: 40k - 50k

Role Type: Full - Time Permanent

Location: Woking

Role Description

  • Collating and maintaining regulatory conformity, certifications and approval documentations
  • Conducting internal lab testing to ensure design meets approval requirements
  • Assisting with agency approvals and reviews relating to the products of electrical systems
  • Assisting Compliance Manager in ensuring products meet worldwide agency approvals
  • Assisting the product management team and advising on approvals related matters
  • Assisting supply chain to ensure components meet the required regulatory approvals
  • Working with the laboratory and mechanical design teams to ensure products meet regulatory approvals

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Product/Compliance or Testing.
  • Previous exposure in safety testing or regulatory compliance
  • An Engineering related Degree, A level, NVQ or equivalent
  • EMC or Electrical safety knowledge
  • Previous exposure to test houses
  • Have good problem-solving acumen
  • Attention to detail
  • Good systems skills, ideally Excel related
