Fundraising Officer
London (hybrid working)
The Organisation
Our client helps hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising.
They are now looking for a Fundraising Officer to join them on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week, for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Role
As a Fundraising Officer, you will support the delivery of our client's vibrant calendar of events and community fundraising activities.
Specifically, you will provide outstanding supporter care to individuals taking part in events or organising their own fundraising, offering tailored advice, materials, and encouragement to help them maximise their impact.
You'll also manage fundraising products and partnerships, such as gaming events and working with third-party event organisers, while ensuring donations are accurately recorded and supporter information is kept up to date in the database.
With responsibility for your own targets, you'll proactively seek opportunities to grow community and events income, working closely with hospital teams and the wider community to inspire involvement in fundraising campaigns.
Additionally, you will:
- Promote events and campaigns through print and social media
- Represent the organisation at events within hospitals and the wider community
- Manage collection tins and contactless devices, tracking and maximising income
- Maintain stock of fundraising materials and keep accurate records
About You
To be considered as a Fundraising Officer, you will need:
- Previous experience in events and/or community fundraising, or in a similar role
- Experience in delivering excellent customer service
- Previous administration experience
- Experience of processing income/donations, including cash handling and financial coding
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage projects effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role, including occasional evenings and weekends
- The ability to travel between hospital sites in London
