An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking building services consultancy. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sustainable building design, energy performance analysis, and the preparation of sustainability documentation for a range of high-profile projects across multiple sectors.

Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in energy and thermal modelling (e.g. IES VE).
- Strong understanding of Building Regulations Part L and compliance assessments.
- Ability to conduct daylight, overheating, and thermal comfort studies.
- Experience supporting the preparation of Energy & Sustainability Statements for planning submissions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently when required.
- Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Building Services, Environmental Engineering, or Sustainability).
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable Criteria
- Accredited energy assessor (domestic and/or non-domestic).
- Qualified SAP or non-domestic energy assessor.
- Membership (or working towards membership) of CIBSE or similar professional body.
- Experience in TM54 operational energy predictions.
- Familiarity with The London Plan and local authority sustainability requirements.
- Experience in embodied and whole life carbon assessments.
- Commercial awareness, understanding of project viability, and client engagement experience.
- Experience presenting sustainability options and outcomes to clients and multidisciplinary teams.
