Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of pupils.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel encouraged to participate and excel.
• Assess pupil progress through various formative and summative assessment methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.
• Communicate regularly with pupils, parents, and colleagues to discuss student progress, academic goals, and any concerns.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Geography Teacher, preferably in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent command of geographical concepts with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and dedication to fostering a love of geography among pupils.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to effectively manage time and resources.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of current trends and best practices in education.
