Nursery Manager

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a team committed to delivering the highest standards of quality care for children. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone whose been in a leadership role withing childcare, We are looking for an NVQ Level 3 qualified and above, who are friendly, hardworking and have positive, flexible attitudes. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will be working on a Rota basis between the hours of 8am to 6pm. You should have a passion for supporting children's learning.

A nurturing, passionate and compassionate nature is required to support all children and in particular younger children and children with additional needs.

Being passionate about Nursery and preschool education and empowering our children to reach their maximum potential is an absolute necessity.

Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential for this role. Experience of keeping records of children's development would be desirable. You should be physically fit and motivated to help children learn.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily activities that are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Assess children's progress and development and record their findings.
• Communicate with parents and carers about their child's progress.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for children.
• Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education.
• Attend training and development opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 CACHE or Higher NVQ in Childcare or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role
• Experience of working with children in an early year setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
