Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 07:00–17:00

Pay Rate: £21.31 per hour

Contract: Ongoing, Long-Term Work

We are recruiting experienced Coachbuilders to join a busy automotive manufacturing operation in Bicester. This is a skilled role, working on large commercial vehicles such as buses and coaches, where you’ll be involved in building and fitting high-quality components to exacting standards.

The Role:

• Fabrication of complex parts and assemblies to support the manufacturing process.
• Reading and working from detailed drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.
• Fitting and assembly of metal, wood, and laminate components to large commercial vehicles.
• Using hand tools, plant, and equipment safely to complete builds to a high standard.
• Moving between different operations while maintaining efficiency and quality.
• Compliance with all Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Occasional travel and staying away from home may be required.

The Person:

• Proven experience in fabrication, coachbuilding, or vehicle assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and instructions.
• Skilled in using a variety of hand tools and equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence - no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake further training where required.
