Deputy Manager (RGN) - Must have an NMC PIN - 45K initially +mileage at 45p p/m Monday to Friday mainly - Godalming office Neuro Rehab / Complex Care in the community - Covering Surrey and some of Sussex

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager (RGN) who wants to help gorw and develop a Complex Care / Neuro Rehab branch in the community. Office is based in Godalming, Surrey. There is scope to grow your salary once the branch develops.

The role of Deputy Manager requires an individual with experience in assisting the Registered Branch Manager in the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring high standards of clinical care for residents, compliance with legislation and standards, and standing in for the Registered Branch Manager when needed. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a Deputy Manager (RGN) with understanding of complex needs or neuro rehabilitation experience, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, possess a hands-on approach to care, be forward-thinking, and have a good understanding of care standards legislation, including Fundamental Standards.

Key requirements for the Deputy Manager (RGN) role:

  • Relevant professional qualification (minimum NVQ/Diploma L3)
  • NMC PIN
  • Previous management/supervisory experience within a residential care home setting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards
  • Strong understanding of the principles of Person-Centered Care
  • Recent experience and knowledge of dementia care
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, motivate and develop a team of staff
  • Robust organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, families, stakeholders and other relevant bodies
  • Evidence of recent management and administration of medication competency
  • A flexible approach to working hours
