Job Opportunity: Electrician
Location: Kent
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime

Are you an experienced and dedicated Electrician looking for an exciting new challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, where you'll take on varied and rewarding work across water-based assets.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform general electrical duties, including installation, testing, maintenance, and examination of equipment up to 1000V AC and 1200V DC.
Work safely within a "Permit to Work" system.
Install electrical equipment such as MCC panels, motors, and control systems, including fixed and portable equipment.
Select and erect cable handling systems and containment solutions.
Fault-find and repair electrical equipment, including panels, actuators, and water-based systems.
Collaborate with mechanical or civil engineering staff when required.
Take responsibility for the use and upkeep of a company van.
Occasionally work away from home as projects require.
Understand and sign onto all CPP/RAMS on-site and adhere to Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.
Participate in a call-out rota (1 week every 4-5 weeks).
Wear appropriate PPE and follow site safety guidelines.
Take on additional duties within the scope and seniority of the role.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 Electrical qualification (minimum).
CSCS JIB Card holder.
Proven ability to fault-find in domestic and industrial environments, with experience in 415V systems.
Strong analytical skills to process information quickly and accurately.
A proactive mindset, introducing new ideas and driving improvements.
Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude.
Willingness to undertake professional development.
Additional qualifications such as:
oPASMA training.
oFirst Aid certification.
o2391 Test and Inspection.
oConfined Space training.
oSMSTS/SSSTS certification.
