Objective of Role
You will lead and coordinate community safety initiatives within Wandsworth, working strategically with partners to reduce crime, anti-social behaviour, and improve community cohesion. Your role supports the objectives of the Safer and Stronger Communities Team, focusing on prevention, partnership working, and problem-solving to make communities safer.The Service works on key themes including Serious Violence, Offender Management, Anti-Social Behaviour, Neighbourhoods, Domestic Abuse, Prevent and Radicalisation and Hate Crime.
The Community Safety Officer role is non-uniformed and predominantly non-enforcement as it is a strategic and partnership role which sits within the Community Safety Service and reports directly into the Community Safety Partnership Board.
