Fresh People are recruiting for a Technical Compliance Coordinator for an established and respected company within the UK fresh produce industry based near Maidstone in Kent. This company is a market leader in the sourcing, production, and distribution of fresh produce to top-tier UK retailers.

As they continue to evolve their compliance and sustainability standards, they are now seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about technical integrity, food safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with suppliers to collect and review due diligence documentation

• Upload and manage data on both internal and customer compliance platforms

• Conduct supplier risk assessments and monitor performance across supply periods

• Manage chemical surveillance testing for inbound product

• Conduct traceability and recall exercises as needed

• Maintain and update supplier approval lists

• Collate and trend environmental data including food waste, carbon emissions, and sustainability metrics

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Degree educated, preferably in Food Science, Environmental Science, or a related discipline

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and ideally Power BI

• Experience with online sustainability or compliance platforms

• Strong project management, organisational and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets

• Self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a wider team
